The "Comprehensive encyclopedia of the Holy Quran Reading and Writing", which was launched for the first time in the Islamic world by the efforts of the Quran Printing and Publishing Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran, seeks to provide basic information in the field of Quranic composition, recording, recitations, endowments, and initiation to researchers in this field.
The people involved in this system believe that the knowledge of Quranic composition and recitations is a very necessary and extremely important knowledge in the field of Quranic sciences that has been neglected by most Quranic scholars at the present time. The low interest of researchers in researching and studying this knowledge in the present day is not only because the knowledge of Quranic composition is of less importance in their eyes; rather, the failure to address these matters in most cases is due to the fact that researchers and writers are not familiar with the main sources of this field and are not aware of the correct methods of interaction and research in this field.
Therefore, the “Comprehensive Encyclopedia of Quran Recitation and the Book” has been launched with the aim of helping researchers interested in this field all over the world with the following capabilities:
